Ford Ranger Bonnet Protector PX4 THICK
The heavier-gauge guard for Ford Ranger owners who spend real time on gravel, and it still clips on in about fifteen minutes without a hole drilled.
If you're driving farm tracks or forestry roads daily, the standard guard's acrylic can eventually crack under repeated stone strikes .
Built for genuine gravel and farm-track use, not just the occasional dusty road.
Stays looking sharp longer than a standard guard under regular stone hits.
Precision-moulded to the same flush profile as the standard guard.
Clips onto the factory mounting points.
Clips onto the factory mounting points, no drilling, about 10 minutes.
Clips onto the factory mounting points under the bonnet edge.
A straightforward single-person job for most vehicles.
Sits flush against the bonnet line, no gaps, no rattle.
Wipe down the bonnet edge before fitting for the best hold.
Good Service Excellent Product
The bonnet protector looks great! Was a little apprehensive about it, but I’m pleased with the result. Window weather shield’s look great too.
I've put Stone Guards on all of my Rangers and this is by far the best one to date. Great service and after service from Tough Trucks also. Thank for your help Javed.
Very happy customer
Excellent fits perfectly
This is made for the Ford Ranger specifically, not a universal part trimmed to suit. It is listed to fit PX4 2022–2026.
Model runs change part way through a year, so if your vehicle sits near the edge of that range, send us your rego or VIN and we will confirm the fitment before you order rather than after.
No. It clips onto the factory bonnet edge using the existing mounting points, so there is no drilling and no modification to your paint. Most people have it on in 15 to 20 minutes with basic hand tools.
If you would rather not do it yourself, our own team fits these in-house at our Avondale workshop. Call 021 541 306 to book a time.
A heavier gauge of material. If you spend real time on gravel, farm tracks or rural highways, the thicker guard takes repeated stone strikes better and holds its finish longer before it starts looking tired.
For mostly sealed-road driving the standard guard does the job and saves you the difference.
